Decline In Honey Levels

The British Beekeepers association survey has shown a steady decline in the levels of honey produced by bees over the last year.
I went to a local Birmingham beekeeper to find out more.

Talks for making Birmingham taxi's and hire cars more environmentally friendly have began today.
Some proposals put forward include making more electric charging points which will offer fast or rapid charging facilities for Hackney carriages and private hire vehicle.
This talk comes after government instruction to introduce a clean air zone to Birmingham in the shortest time possible.
Clean Streets, Recycling and Environment councillor Lisa Trickett had this to say:

Sexual Harassment At Charity Dinner
January, 2018
A wrap made about sexual harassment at the charity dinner in January:
Women were allegedly told to wear high heels and matching underwear at the President’s club fundraiser dinner.
Today, Birmingham MP, Jess Phillips has spoken out about the alleged sexual harassment that took place.
Australian Flu
October, 2018
During the feared 'Aussie Flu' outbreak in January, I interviewed a local pharmacist to see if the public should be concerned or not. Here is what I wrote for the cue:
'Aussie flu' will reach Birmingham this January, with thousands predicted to contract the virus. Pharmacist Akim (Ahkim) Baqrri (Backree) said that the flu will cause a strain on the NHS.
Birmingham City: Tackling Child Sexual Exploitation
June, 2023
The men who held a 14 year old girl captive for 5 days and forced her to have sex with 20 men were sentenced in January at Birmingham Crown Court. Jake Cairns was sentenced to 8 years in prison for arranging and facilitating child sexual exploitation, and distributing indecent images of
children. Brandon Sharples and Jack McInally were both given 5 years for facilitating child exploitation.
Birmingham City council members met this week and said that communication and education are important when it comes to eradicating child sexual exploitation in Birmingham.
Childhood Obesity: Radio Feature

This comes after reports that the current government scheme to keep kids healthy in schools is not working
